About EduEco

Our Mission: is to provide sustainable ecotourism in the country of Belize and create a model for the world. Our sites will ultimately be fully self-sufficient. Providing power from Sun, wind, and water; provide water from rain an reclamation; providing food from organic gardens onsite. Providing careers for the indigenous people for years to come.

EDUECO

EduEco is a project focused in incorporating environmentally friendly practices with a fun-filled living experience in Belize. While our primary language of communication is English, we have people from around the world working with us who speak a wide variety of languages. So wherever you’re from, our goal is to always make you feel welcome and at home with us here.

Speaking of, our home base is located in the Town of Benque Viejo Del Carmen, near the Guatemalan border. Our primary work sites are close by in the jungle. However, new sites are springing up all the time. Our newest ones include deserted islands near Tobacco Caye off the coast and jungles near the center of the country.

VOLUNTEERS

At EduEco some of us are young, old (don’t call the old people that though), outdoor types, computer geeks, nature lovers, adventures, entrepreneurs, successful business types, hippies, and just about as diverse a group as you can imagine. And while we’re all unique, we’re driven and connected by the EduEco mission.

We’re a HANDS on group motivated and ambitious to learn through work. Adventure, learning and helping may be a priority with us but we still have a heck of a lot of fun and do relax from time to time (as seen in pic below) . If you’re looking for a cheap vacation where you intend to spend only leisure time, EduEco will be a place to challenge you.

Looking forward to seeing you soon!
